This project was created with a base concept that was explored by choosing to work with House Of Tupamaras, a queer group of Voguing performers based in Bogota, Colombia. Their self-expression used as a political tool was a key element in our research where we worked together to develop a design solution tailored for their needs.
The outcome of the project was the design of a personalized experience for each member where they received a DIY kit to help their creative process of self expression. This included a custom fanzine, a still life that was photographed and printed based on their artistic persona, mixed media elements for sketching/brainstorming and a set of questions and phrases to inspire their inner dialogues.

The aim of the project is to understand the behaviours, relationships and motivations of a community related to the integrated concept of bold alterations and irreverent care in order to develop a relevant design proposal addressed to it and its context which responds to the opportunities and/or needs identified during the research.
